Indigenous artifacts from the Vatican collection return to Canada

More than 60 Indigenous artifacts taken to the Vatican by Catholic missionaries a century ago have been returned to Canada's First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities. The step is tied to the legacy of Catholic-run residential schools, which more than 150,000 Indigenous children were forced to attend and suffered widespread abuse.
